I picked up a black 2007 F-150 FX4 Screw. I'm saving up for some new wheels and tires. I have the stock 20's with Yoko A/T on it now. I plan on putting leveling blocks in the front and getting some black 20" Rockstar rims. Any recommendations for mud terrain tires that have good treadwear and low highway noise? I think I'm aiming for 33"-34" because I think 35" would rub and I don't want to do any trimming. Share pics of your similar setups. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

 

I think those 3 characteristics are mutually exclusive. Might want to pick the one most important to you, and go from there.

Tirerack has good ratings by characteristic (treadwear, noise, traction, etc). Might want to try there.

 

BFG KM2 M/T's or Toyo M/T's.. but, you probably can't afford them..

 

Aint that the truth! Got the KM2's on mine for probably the first and only time. Good tire though. You know they're a mud tire but they ride well and don't whine.

 

And my set lasted for 55K miles ... I was impressed.. was going to replace with another set but they went up a hundred dollars a tire..

 

I wanna say I paid $270-$280/tire for mine. 10K on em now, fixing to rotate them. Happy with the wear so far.

 

I bought 305/55/20's and they were $400 each. and when I went to replace them they wanted almost $500 ea. went with trail grapplers @ $340 ea.

I just put 4 Wild Country XTX Sport 4S last Tuesday. 760.19 out the door, and spent the weekend on my dads farm in southern Indiana and can say I was impressed by them.
