How do you plan on doing it? Nite Shades? Window tint? I can tell you that I had black chrome rims on my old Mustang and it was not durable. Can't imagine a DIY attempt being any better.

Sorry guess I was unclear. I've never heard of anyone tinting wheels and I'm not really sure what you would even do it with. I mean nightshades is good stuff but I'm not sure it would hold up worth a crap on wheels. Why not just paint em black or take em to a shop and get them machined.

There is a product out there for this. I think duplicolor makes it.

haha..it did. I believe he did it to the stock wheels..it looked good but i dont know how itll hold up.
