I would love to put 5% all the way around. The main reason for me wanting to tint is for that no one can see in.

My truck is burgundy red and I love the look of 5% and I don't want anybody seeing in. The law here I think is 35% but I don't care about the law I've talked to many guys with illegal tint and they never had a problem.

I would love to get 5% all the way around. my truck is burgundy red. I mainly want it so no one can see in. The law here I think says 35% is the limit, but I've talked to many guys who have illegal tint and have never been bothered.

I would just do it. Get pulled over and just roll your window down. They can't usually pull you over for just tint. It's usually a second offense thing anyways. Plus because like in Cali it's just a fix it ticket they don't make any money because you get a cop buddy to sign off the ticket and then it's a waste of time for everyone.

Actually yes they can pull you over in any state just for tint. Will every cop do it? Not necessarily but they do have the right to do so. That being said, I have 5% on all my vehicles and just expect to pay a tint ticket every few years.

Really? I thought it was a second offense thing like seat belts used to be until they changed them to a primary offense.

One thing I've noticed though is that cops tend to leave trucks alone. I've seen them hit cars for speeding over a truck doing the same speed. Haha

Ya they can pull you over my buddy got pulled over for 2.5 all around except windshield and no other reason and then another guy got pulled for 50% windshield and 15% sides the only way to get out of it would be medical tint form depending on the laws for that

Ya I need to get something like that medical tint. I have pretty bad light sensitivity so I might be able to. Where my truck is registered I'm not too far out of the law. But outside is outside haha

Knock on wood I guess but I've only been pulled over 2 times (just for tint) and I've a plenty of truck with dark tinted windows in my day. I got pulled over for my strip going back home outside of tallahassee fl by a state trooper that was sitting on the side of the road, he didn't say anything about my whole windshield being tinted or even my side windows being 5%. The bad part was, the damn ticket was only $8 and I had to take the tint off and go the police station in tallahassee to show them that I took it off, it's not fun stripping the whole front windshield.
