Default tint

Does anyone know if a certain brand of tint matches are factory tint good. I know I should use 20% . I've seen a couple f150 in full sun with 20% and it doesn't match at all. Factory is grayish and other is more a brown. I'm looking for the closest to the factory shade color.also anyone have a note from a doctor to have tint on your windows? I have a friend who has one so he don't get tickets.

I tint windows with Llumar window film ATC15 and it matches up pretty good to the factory windows no complaints so far have been doing it for the past 3 years.

In New York you can only have tinting up to 30% so if the factory tint already installed at 20% you'd only be able to add another 10% on top of that, correct?
As for trying to avoid tickets, I have never got a ticket for my window tinting. And I've got the silliest tickets. No police officer has ever said anything about my tinting, and it is not in the least bit legal. As long as you can get an inspection, I wouldn't worry about a cop writing you a citation for your tinting.
My ranger's windows are so dark you can't see out of them at night, but once again, no tickets.
For the color, I have no idea. I got both my F150 and Ranger done at a local shop.

Do NOT get black magic brand tint. It has a chrome looking finish on it that doesn't match well.

30% is lighter than 20%, the smaller the percentage the darker it gets 5% being the darkest stuff i got and prolly don't wanna get any darker than that.

Yep now I'm confused. Why is it lighter? So if the law states you have to let more than 35% of light in, what is the more your windows can be tinted?

lol its prolly just having the front driver and passenger windows done because that would make no sense especially when the backs are 15-20% right from factory, some areas are not suppose to have any aftermarket window films at all on the front windows.

It is, the backs can be as dark as you would like in a truck. My mom's Audi is legal window tinting on the front and back, and its like there is nothing there. I like for people not to be able to see in my windows.
