Default timing on a 5.4

ok ill be blunt,I have asked in two different post about this question with no coments.
Does the spark plugs have anything to do with the timing?I mean if the plugs or the coilovers are bad will it throw a timing code?thiers no misfire code just timing and lean on bank one
thanks Ray

Coils and spark plugs shouldn't throw a timing code, could be your camshaft position sensor or it actually is out of time, hopefully is something simple
