Question Time to replace the brakes on 07 SCREW

Hi All, it's time for a brake job and I've searched the towing and this forum without much luck. I'm trying to find what brand(s) you guys have had good luck with. Don't really want to pay the dealership for their parts if I can help it. NAPA is always there but thought I'd ask around here first. I tow an RV 4-6 times per year so I want to upgrade not just stick with OEM.

Thanks!
Chris

i bought OEM motor craft pads and rotors for my truck man front and back. they were competitive in pricing to aftermarket manufacturing. I truly think there is a different between aftermarket and motor craft pads and rotors, i would deff go with the OEM ford parts, you won't be sorry, also i think they last much longer then aftermarket stuff

I just replaced all 4 of them on my 04 SuperCrew with Wagner Thermoquiet ceramic brake pads. They are more expensive, but if you bring them back prior to metal-to-metal, they will replace them for free for life.

How did that 2WD set up work for you?

I've had good luck with the Centric brake rotors and pads. They have a set with painted top-hats so they don't look terrible through your wheels. Probably 10k miles on them and they are holding up great with no issues.

The stock rotors and pads are junk. I put the brakemotive kit with the drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads, and couldn't be happier. Big improvement over stock, and zero brake dust.
