Default Throttle Position Sensor?

Ok guys. Over the past few months I have issues with my truck bucking while going up an incline or at low throttle. Last night I got the chance to hook up a scanner and record live datastreaming. I got it up to Normal Operating Temp and took off. I went through transmission, engine data 1, engine data 2 , and emissions. It didn't show any misfires, solenoid malfunctions... What I did notice is that when I would barely have my foot on the pedal going up an incline or low throttle that it would show the TPS at WOT even though I barely had my foot on the throttle. Would this cause the bucking at jerking issue I'm having? Any other time it would sow PT I guess for partial throttle and when I had it past the halfway point it would show WOT. What are your thoughts? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know if that is the issue but it seems like a good place to start. They're pretty cheap online and they're easy to change so I would try that. Mine died last year and it basically put my truck into limp mode. When I turned the truck off and back on sometimes it would work, and sometimes it would only limp. It's worth a shot though.

I would have to say you've found your problem. Looks like a pretty straight forward diagnosis.

Keep us informed on the results. My 05 has started doing the same exact thing. I was thinking is was a bad COP but there are no codes thrown.

oh yeah you're supposed to pump it a few times. I don't remember the exact process. It speeds up the learning process I think. You should be good to go though.
