This has been going on for about 2 years and I am finally getting around to asking the question ( yes I been lazy). Anyways the issue is while driving on the highway, cruising about 2100 with 4.10 gearing. I hit a patch of rough pavement, the torque converter unlocks and the truck revs to about 2500 for a few seconds and the truck goes back down to 2100. Ironically pulling a hill or under some load, the truck does not ever unlock the torque converter (stays at 2100 rpms) I have a 4.6 not a 5.4. Any thoughts or ideas to deal with it would be appreciated.
