NO! Do not waste your money on such a thing for a fuel injected vehicle. I dont care what anyone on this forum says, its hogwash.

The whole point of a throttle body spacer was for better atomization of fuel/air from the carburetor to the lower intake. A fuel injected car needs no such thing.

Aftermarket companies have been incredibly successful in brainwashing the public on various things. People seem to think a throttle body spacer adds power because it adds a neat little sound upon acceleration.

When you really think how a fuel injected motor works, you can easily see how such a thing is nothing more than a paperweight.

I agree. Adding an extra half an inch that the air has to travel to get into the engine is not going to do anything beneficial for you.

Pro = Handy Paperweight

Con = Ugly paper weight

If it's already on your truck though, it won't hurt anything by leaving it on. It just does nothing to add power.

works for some, not for most

try it on your truck, its 50 bucks, or almost a tank of gas

take it on a few highway drives and note any mileage increase or decreases

if it works, leave it on, if not, sell it

I have one on my truck and the only thing it did was make the intake louder. No performance gains that I can tell.

I have a HELIX TBS. The only reason I added was for the intake noise. Other than that, I noticed NO GAINS.
