This is just an opinion, but considering it just plugs into the OBD port, I wouldnt worry about buying used. Product that requires installation where the wiring has been cut up to work with a specific vehicle is where you run into problems.

 

Just make sure whoever u buy it from put the truck back to stock before you buy

 

Bought mine used, works like new

 

Test it on your truck to make sure it works, and you should be good

 

1. Check part number to make sure it will work on your truck and motor
2. Make sure that the owner has returned their truck to the stock program
3. And then you're ready to go

 

bought mine used, no problems at all, just make sure it is reverted back to stock before the seller took it off.
