Wont hurt.. don't over do it with the RTV.. you will need to remove it eventually.

It's disappointing the new one does this as well. Thank you!

Oh and one other thing, hate to be so picky but. When you installed it, did you just tighten the screws and let those pull the light onto the cab? Or would it cause bowing/bending if I pushed the fixture down more as I tightened so it creates even more compression on the foam? I'm trying to figure out why this new seal could still leak as it's my baby :/

I took it off and held it firmly down as I screwed it in this time but I'm thinking I should RTV it or something since the bulbs are brand new too.
When I replaced my TBL with a new oem one, the first thing I did was remove the foam gasket and apply a thick bead of RTV. I let set for 24 hours before installing so it wouldn't epoxy itself to the truck.

That was in 2014 and I have not had a leak.

I bought the Doorman from Amazon, as a matter of fact, wharehouse deals at a discount. It was identical to the Ford original I removed that I should have had Ford replace under warranty, but did not want to hassle with.

Yep. And it doesn't take much to do so.
