Wont hurt.. don't over do it with the RTV.. you will need to remove it eventually.

Oh and one other thing, hate to be so picky but. When you installed it, did you just tighten the screws and let those pull the light onto the cab? Or would it cause bowing/bending if I pushed the fixture down more as I tightened so it creates even more compression on the foam? I'm trying to figure out why this new seal could still leak as it's my baby :/

I bought the Doorman from Amazon, as a matter of fact, wharehouse deals at a discount. It was identical to the Ford original I removed that I should have had Ford replace under warranty, but did not want to hassle with.

If you over tighten the 2 screws you will crack the lens.. Trust me !
