That my friend is a bit of a mess. Looks to be something that someone put together themselves. It is rather unusual to weld all the connections. You could measure the tubing and buy an appropriate sized muffler but if you want to go to stock I would get an entire system, cat back, from a scrap yard to make your life easier.

Just cut that glass pack behind the weld, and get a long 3" in 3" out aftermarket muffler.. You can retain your dual exit this way, and should only cost you the price of a muffler and 2 clamps.

You will need to redo the hanger and shorten that inlet pipe up.. To redo something like that, an exhaust shop might only charge you somewhere around 150 bucks if its just a muffler swap and you buy the muffler..

I would cut the glass pack out, and weld in a proper muffler. Glass packs are known to be LOUD. Kind of meant to be that way. The stocker probably won't fit in that arrangement, but you could adapt say a Magnaflow Super 50 Delta FLow for a little rumble outside but nowhere near as nasty as the glasspacks. If you are wanting to go even quieter, look into something like the Walker Quietflow mufflers...

I would think it would make more sense to weld in a SI/DO muffler instead of that SI/SO then split to dual rigging that is there...

I have to agree..
Just cut the 2 2.5" pipes behind the bends into the muffler, then get a SI/DO.. This way you can keep the muffler further back and retain that hanger.. Try to get a muffler that's longer then 18" if you want it to be super quiet.. 3 clamps and your done..

Thanks everyone, I would up taking the beast to a muffler here in garland and they only charged me $90 USD to replace the glass pack with a SI/DO muffler. Now it is quiet and I can now open the window.
i don't if this is related but since i replaced to pack i seem to notice a bit more power on the freeway. before it used to hesitate during acceleration.
