Default Thinking about tailgate light bar

How hard is it to install something like this and does anyone have this bar (if so pics?)

I know my dad has one that scans. Maybe i'll ask him which one he got. I really like the price of the plasmaglow from Autoanything... just dont know if I can install it on my own heh... im an idiot at these things...

This is just a guess, but it should be pretty easy. Especially if you go with an all red one, all you would have to do is tap into the wire that powers your break light and then just ground the other one. The multi-colored recon woukd probably be a little different to wire up I woukd imagine. I'm eventually going to get one and will probably go with the scanning one from recon.

The plasmaglow is stoplights, reverse, and turn signals. I'll do more looking into it. I'll probably buy one sometime next month lol.

I have the same one on my truck, looks absolutely fantastic. The reverse lights are awesome. Very easy install. Just stick it on and plug it into the 4-pin trailer adapter. I will post pics of the back up light when it gets dark

Not hard to install, get it in where you want it and use the provided 3M double side tape then plug er in to the trailer plug.

They do look pretty awesome and now these are on my list

So it requires no special splicing of wires or all that jazz? Just plug her right in? Does the cord hide well? Any tips?
