Thinking about selling
I was washing my truck today and started thinking about how little I actually drive my truck anymore and how it's really getting to be more hassle then what it's worth. I would also really like to get the wife a really nice car to drive so I thought about posting it up for sale. Was wondering what you guys think I should ask for if I do try to sell? The truck is in excellent other than having the accident a year ago, but you definitely cannot tell it. KBB has private party sale right around $20k so I was thinking of listing for $25 OBO. If I can get $24k for it I will be very happy and take the money and run, but I will absolutely go no lower than $22k. Do you think this is fair or am I out of my mind? Thanks
i think u should take ur suspension off and give it to me...i like the idea and then i dont have to buy a new lift kit....
hope u find a buyer for it.
ps and the bullbar..that way i dont have to buy one of those either..

I think its well worth $22-25K depending on how many miles it has..It's always hard to part with something you've put so much time into though. But honestly if its just a lawn ornament and you don't drive it any sell that puppy. I'm sure the wife would be happy with a nice new BMW or Benz
sorry to hear that you want to sell I read that on another post and it shocked me thought it was a miss print but I agree with chadt if it just sits around then your better off while its still worth something and someone else can get as much enjoyment out of it as you. I believe you are in the ballpark with the price also.
I do not see why you wouldn't be able to get around $22k for it. There is an '04 Screw Lariat 4x4 w/ 6" lift and 35" TerraGrapplers on chrome 20's with 50k miles on it near me for $21k. Granted this is at a GM dealer but it provides some sort of comparison.
It's listed on Craigslist right now, I'll wait and see if I get any takers. It will be sad to see her go if she does sell, but I won't be disappointed if she doesn't sell. Of course after spending the majority of the day yesterday washing her I get up this morning to find that it rained all night and more rain is on the radar. Lucky for me though I took today off so I don't have to get out there and drive on the wet roads getting her all dirty again. That's my problem I only use her as rainy day transportation soo I know when I wash her the very next time I take her out she's just going to get dirty again.
I'll keep everyone posted on whether she sells or not.

Sell it and you'll want another one shortly, I'm glad I get to drive mine close to a hundred miles a day round trip to work. My wife is glad with her Honda van and won't even use my truck. Hope the rain let's up because my daughter and son-in-law are in Hawaii right now. Last night they were at Sunset beach and the pipeline and today flying over to the big island. We just got over some heavy rain over here in the Bayou country. Anyway I think you should keep your truck and just use it more, too nice of a truck to sell!
