You'll have plumbing issues with making the Procharger fit the later trucks. So be prepared to have some fab work done. And if your gonna have that kinda work done you would be money ahead with the turbo.

So your saying the turbo is cheaper? Under hood or under body turbo?

Hey Blown Ford I have an 08 screw 4x4 with 3:73 Ls and 33 in tires. I'm gonna step to 35 max and a SAS one day with 4:56. As long as I build the truck right it should still be fine to make big power and tow a small trailer. As long as I do my best to keep the temps low? This may seem like a dumb question but this is my first new really nice truck.

In a case like this yes. You will have to do pipe fab work and if I'm not mistaken fab a plate to mount it to the front of the motor. By the time you do that and purchase the pro charger you could have purchased a turbo and had the plumbing work done for it and likely save some serious coin.

Do these motors respond well to turbos? Just less of a bolt on mod so i dont hear about them a lot.

Buy secondhand.

Any of the 04-08 blowers will do on stock bottom end.

Whipple twinscrew is the best blower But, the kit has flaws.
Roush 'Heatons' work real well and the kit is far better. (Coggs as well)
Saleen blower? Backwards Alternator?

Not sure about the rest but try to find a second hand unit. Even an incomplete kit as a few of us have parts galor.

Just bolt on and get a tune.

Do you have more info on the backwards alternator?
