Tar on paint
The other day i was driving in the rain on a freshly paved road. So my tires (Sticks out 2'' past wheel well) sprayed my trucks body with the grim, my truck ain't very red anymore it has a lot of black on it now. So if i rub the paint the stuff comes off but it takes a lot of rubbing to remove a little bit of the tar. What is the best/most efficient way to remove the tar and will it harm my paint.
I guess if i use a buffer it will be a bit quicker, Is it okay to leave it on the paint till next weekend because theyre calling for a lot of rain this coming and all 3 side roads that i can take to work are getting paved. The only other side road choices are 15 km to far south and to far north of where i need to go.
I also used some really hot water, but be careful because it will smear and also clog up the clothes that you are using. I went through about three sponges and two or three cloths by the time I got done.

WD-40. It takes tar, bugs and pine pitch right off. It is a natural fish oil and it does not harm the paint. After you have the tar off wash the whole truck like normal. It won't leave any residue. I use it all the time on my white, red and black vehicles.
