taillight removal

Yea u have to pull them strait out toward the back after you remove the two screws. But i bought those "hyper white" bulbs from pepboys also and they are a piece of S**T!!!! they are white but give off less light than the stock bulbs so I returned those and ordered PIAA HID like bulbs from LTBMotorsports.com and they are great!!! they are actually hyper white and bright. hey are about 11 bucks for the pair and 7 bucks shipping so its well worth it. I also switch my brake bulbs and licencse plate bulbs with the same HID like bulbs and they are awesome.

today i went to home depot to by a mini cro bar and i pulled them right out put those "hyper lights" in and they were blue as hell i was like $^%$^.. so i just did one and i left the left one in, at night lookin on the fence they look cool or pullin it into the garage but not head on, it looks dumb. are the leds bright on the ground or just bright on the lens only?

the PIAAs arent LEDs theyre regular bulbs so i wouldnt know but the PIAAs are pretty bright considering my reverse section of my light is smoked out.

What does new have to do with it? I replaced my [snore] OEM tails with some sweet smoked LED tails. Truck only had about 80 miles on it.

Once you get the two side bolts out, ya gotta tug on the tails to get them out. They have two dowel inserts into the bed that are pretty tight. I don't recommend using a screw driver....just PULL on the darned things....
