Alright so I have a dent in the back of my truck, about the size of my palm... And it's annoying! How can I remove it? Plunger didnt work (embarrassed to say I tried that)... I heard I can take my tailgate off and take a hammer in dent it back. Please HELP!

You can definitely take your tailgate off, but I don't see how that will give you access to the dent. If the dent is in the outer shell of the tailgate, you still have the inner shell in the way.

Post a pic of the dent first... but PDR (paintless dent removal) is always an option.

They make dent tools so you can take off the plastic on the inside drill a hole big enough for it to go through and work it from the inside or you could find a truck similar and switch tailgates when noones looking haha just kidding

You can get to the outer part of the tailgate by removing the inside piece of metal. It just bolts on.

Some dent guys, even the amazing ones, don't PDR tailgates. You're probably better off buying a new tailgate.
