Default Superchip vs SCT

Gentlemen,
1st post here. Sorry if this question has been asked before but I'm looking for some quick feed back. I have recently purchased an 07 Lariat. It had 19 K on the odo when I purchased it. Currently the only mod is a series 40 flow dumped but I'm looking for better fuel economy, harder shifts and higher speed. I traded an 08 Mustang GT for this thing. I know I can never get that kind of speed out of a truck but I'm sure this thing can do better than 96 mph top speed.
I have an opportunity to purchase either a Superchip or SCT and want to know your thoughts before doing so. Thanks for any and all help.

I had a superchip flashpaq on my 05 4.2 and my 08 5.4. I sold it and bought an edge for the 5.4. Never looked back. Get an edge, gryphon, sct or something along that line. Stay away from superchip. Im so glad i got rid of it.

hahahaha... legally, you can't. It just pisses me off when i want to pass someone and they play the speed up so you can't pass me game and you vehicle tops out at 96. If I had just a little more, I could pass. I'm in the truck all day. I guess you could say it is my office.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've heard a lot of good things about the Edge as well as the SCT.

GET a good programer w/custom tunes and a CAI. then maybe you will be quick enough that you will get by them before you hit 96mph

Gryphon with custom tunes and Gotts mod.

You need to save your A/M intake money for a set of tires that are speed rated...
