Default Supercharger Question:]

Been thinking of getting a supercharger for the truck.
Will any 5.4L supercharger work with our engines?

I'm researching superchargers (whipple, saleen and roush) because eventually I'm going to pull the trigger and get one. My truck isn't a daily driver, my 09 crown vic is. I would appreciate any suggestions and opinions.

I know of a performance shop about 1 hr away that works on fords (mustang, f150, Ford gt) and they have the roush and edelbrock systems. I'm sure they could get the whipple or saleen systems as well. I'm looking for something reliable, low maintenance and can be upgraded if necessary. I guess thats why I'm leaning towards the whipple or saleen systems.

I've been seeing a lot of roush kits and other various superchargers for sale that have been pulled from the ford lightnings, s331's, and other 5-4 liter engines. Of course I'd rather go with new, but I was just seeing what the compatibility would be like! Also a mate's got a wrecked 331 SC that we were thinking of frankensteining
