I have a friend with the Roush setup on an '08. Pretty awesome. And he said it didn't void his warranty, (not sure about that). That is also a daily driver. The 2 of us installed it. It took a couple days since neither of us had done one before, but instructions were awesome.

The common misconception about superchargers is that they're bad for the engine. The truth is, chargers by themselves don't harm anything. What does the damage is how YOU drive the vehicle, and you're more likely to drive it like you stole it if you're supercharged!

Basically, if it's there, you're gonna use it!

Anything he don't like about it? How is the gas milage with it? And is there anything else I need that don't come with the kit like different computer or gasket or something.

I think you REALLLLYYY need to do research for a long time way before you go F/I, especially if you're installing it yourself. Not really something you add on a whim.

Agreed!! Do some research. Having a supercharger is a responsibility. As for the Roush it is a good blower but its severly outdated. Its an Eaton roots blower. Edlebrock has a new version of the Eaton called a TVS. It is just as inefficient as the Roush and nearly double the cost. I had a blast on the phone with there tech department who could not tell me anything. A Whipple twin screw on the otherhand will give you 20 more rwhp than the Roush or Edlebrock at the same 8psi boost level thanks to its efficiency. I did months of research before buying mine. I love it and drive the truck like I stole it. If you're concern is maintaining a warranty than I would suggest you have the dealership do the install with whichever blower you use. No one is going to back up the warranty if you install yourself. Plus you will be stuck with the suck *** tune from the blower company. And quite honestly trying to keep a warranty and have a blower is just nonsense to me. Here are some good reads that may help you. I suggest you join up over at f150online.com No offense to this site but there is not much of a blower scene over here.
