Is this coincidence or error on my part? I tried to take off the lower nut on my sway bar. I used an impact driver on the first side and the torque was too much ( I thought), as it simply spun either way doing nothing. Then I went to the other side with a ratchet and got it loose, but now it won't tighten back all the way. I replaced one and probably need to replace the other. Any tricks to get that nut to tighten, or have I destroyed both links? What's the average lifespan of these parts anyway?
