Default Super Duty Conversion possible?

Anybody know what would needed to be done to an F 150 to make it comparable to a super duty?

Is there a conversion or something to make it tow close to same amount.

Thanks

It's pretty easy to do yourself. Just buy the tranny, ecu, live axles, drive shaft, differentials, and suspension and custom fab them to fit the F150.

Thanks guys, I figured it would be too much... Just trying to get out of having to buy a f250 unless needed.

It will be much simpler. And when modded=pure badass.

Why would we want to talk you out of a new Super Duty, those trucks are pretty sweet! What are you doing with the truck to really justify the 250? Is it an infrequent thing? Maybe a set of air bags would get you some additional hauling capability.

However, you should always use the proper tool for the job. You wouldn't build a house with a tack hammer, just like you wouldn't (shouldn't, anyways) try to tow a 18,000lb trailer with your 150.

Trust me I would love an F250, but the price is too much right now.. I want to pull a travel trailer camper.. which I know I can with my F150 but was looking to make it easier on the truck.

I'm not asking how to make it a Super Duty.. but how to make it more comparable.. What would give me the better towing experience and not mess up my truck doing it.

Thanks

Air bags. Add a leaf. Maybe a small lift with replacement springs that have more flex.

You could put AALs in so the rear doesn't sag as much with a load. Do you have the tow package?

yes I have the tow package

I'll have to look into some different susupension options.

Would a lowered truck be better or stock height or lifted?
