suggestions for quieter start?

Default suggestions for quieter start?

i have flowmaster 40 dual exhaust and i love the sound so i am not ditching it but i was wondering if someone had any tips for a quieter start up? i think my neighbor hinted at me i woke him up. dont like to **** off the neighbors so anyone have any tips?

Maybe try to coast it a little bit and crank it up at the end of the street. I mean how do you think I've been leaving my girlfriends house ever since I've had my truck

the only issue is when it starts right away it stays at about 1800rpm for 15 seconds then goes down to 1100rpm eventually.

do most of your trucks do this or is something on my truck going full retard

That's normal startup. I got the same exhaust and I enjoy the loud startup. But I do understand neighbors not enjoying it. ESP early morning. But it's legal so they just need to deal with it.

Thats normal and you cant change that.

Yep. It's like the "choke" of the old carb days. It's for cold start/warm up situations.
