Hey guys I'm new the truck world, was driving a vw before and I'm kind of **** about how my car/truck looks and I was wondering how often do you guys wash or wax your truck, or do you take pride in it's dirty appearance?

 

In the summer every weekend...WAX twice a year...in the winter hit and miss. LOL ...thought this was going to be about BEER....

 

Dirtier is better in my case.. it's been keyed a few times and the dirt hides the scratches lol

back to topic normally every week in the summer, in the winter its more like every 2 or 3 weeks.

 

I was my truck every week and wax every month through out the year(I live in Texas it's hardly ever really too cold to wash your truck haha) and when I wax I do 2-3 coats.... Some people say it's over kill but it keeps it looking clean even when there is dust all over it from what the wind blows in

wax it twice a year at least... and yes we do take pride in our dirty trucks especially during huntin season.

 

i try to wash mine once a week... wax twice a year to keep the clear coat nice..

 

I don't use paste wax anymore and have opted for the quick spray on variety, so I wash it every week or so and probably apply the spray on wax every couple months.
