Default sub box/amp placement

Anybody got a set up they can show or describe? My guess was two 10s, underseat box. Amp behind seat?

Yeah, thats what I have. That's what a lot of people have. Mount amps to back wall and build a box or order one from here
http://www.supercrewsound.com.

What's the question? Once you get the seat off, its pretty straightforward to figure out.

I mounted my amp and cap to my sub box so they are right where somebody would put there feet if they sat behind the driver but since I am 6'"6 I dont have to worry bout anyone sittin behind me.

p.s. IMO putting it behind the seat wouldn't give it much airflow to help it cool if your gonna be slammin them for a long period of time.

Where's the best place to run the amp power wire through the firewall? I'm trying to find a good place on the passenger side.

directly behind the battery on the firewall is the best place to run the cable

Some amps put out a lot of heat and some don't. I have an MMATS 1300Wrms amp that I can pound for hours and its still cool to the touch.

Default amp cable

I own a 2002 F-150 and I'm trying to figure out where exactly is a hole of some kind in the firewall to run my amp cable through. I have my amp under the passenger back seat and the capacitor is on the transmission hump in the middle of the back row. And im going to put a custom made sub bow in the drivers side back seat.

Someone also said this...

-directly behind the battery on the firewall is the best place to run the cable.

So on or through it?
