Stuttering
Hi,
Had to get a tuneup at a shop. They did plugs wires fuel filter and fuel treatment.
After they were finished I drove off and the truck was stuttering under acceleration.
It's not throwing any codes it seems. They claimed it was the fuel treatment still leftover in the intake. I call shenanigans. 3 days later it's still doing it.

Bit of an update. It happens more when labored, so I've been holding onto the lower gears longer.
It also makes a clunking noise, and a noise not unlike when you hear that high pitched ringing noise from a CRT monitor. There seems to be a sweet spot in the pedal where that ringing noise kicks in.

The COP's are a bit fragile. They are known to fail when doing plugs. Not because they are bad to begin with, but because you are moving them around and maybe dropping them. So it could be a COP. You don't need to replace them all usually.
You won't get a check engine light until it misfires a certain amount of time in a minute. Not sure how many times that is. But maybe force it to misfire rather then letting off or giving more gas to get rid of it. I know my truck was bucking like a horse down the highway and I still didn't get a CEL.
So you can either wait for a code to tell you what cylinder it is, or play the guessing game and swap through each cylinder with a new COP, or buy a new set of COPs.

I agree, if you payed for plug "wires" ? I would have questioned them or go back and ask them what the hell was wrong with the wires because that's just them trying to make more money off of you and idk why but that kind of aggrivates me that ppl do that. I would go back and talk to the head honcho in charge and make a complaint. Be aggressive and get them to replace your COPs at little or no cost. That's what I would damn sure due
