I am still having trouble believing it is the passenger side. When I turn the grinding/popping sounds like it is coming from right below my feet..almost through the steering wheel.

Wish the video worked, says it is private.
Really could be a number of things. I would check out other components like the ball joints, and sway bar end links, and control arm bushings.
Also, I've seen a few times on this forum, guys mentioning they have busted coil springs.

My suggestion is to take it to a local repair shop....
A lot offer free estimates.....when they tell you whats wrong you can decide if its something within your skill level or not .
Ask your buddies, dad, or uncles..... should be able to point you to a trustworthy shop.
( If you fix yourself, flip the guys at the shop a 20 spot towards their lunch!)

What brand of parts did you put back in?

Is your power steering in good condition? Sounded kinda like the pump was making noise in the outside video when cranked hard.

Take it to a shop and ask them to check it out. Diagnostic might be $50.

Dafuq is that?
Going to have to take it in, and please make sure to post back on your solution.
I'm interested to find out what that is.

tareed94 - almost all of the parts were moog - ball joints, control arms, sway links. I think the tie rods were just o'reilly stocked ones.

Honestly it sounds like more of a grinding noise than a pop. That's why I'm leaning towards the pump. Have you noticed your steering being harder than normal? If you're stopped and start to turn the wheel (just barely) does the pump make noise?

tareed94 - I think you might be on to something. I didnt suspect the pump as it hasnt really become harder to turn (at least not significantly). However, this morning when sitting still and turning all the way to the left AND right, I can hear the slight popping noise. I assume maybe under pressure of driving, it gets louder and faster. It is a consistent popping noise.

Any tips/tricks on verifying 100% it is the pump before replacing?

I'm gonna go with it's not bad. If it's a popping noise, pump failure is generally a squealing/grinding noise. Had mine go out while doing donuts, that sucked. Haha. Mine unfortunately was either the rack went out and killed the pump, or the pump went out and killed the rack. Regardless, I had to change the ENTIRE system...

I'd take it to a shop and ask them to diagnose, then get another shop to diagnose. If they both say the same issue, then that's likely the issue. If they don't agree, well, that's what we're here for to help with what they say. I've had a shop tell me I needed new struts when I had just installed some, and they didn't even have surface rust yet. So I get skeptical, hence why I said two opinions. Some don't charge if you've bought tires from them, some will. I know NTB, Firestone, and Discount will inspect the front end for free if you've bought tires from them, to inspect the PS system Firestone charged me $75 I believe.
