Hello, I have a 2006 F150 Lariat 4x4 SuperCab that won'ts to studder/bog down while cruising at 50-52mph which is at 1200rpm. Any idea why it won'ts to do this? Doesn't seem to master of the engine is hot or cold. When it does it I have to push the gas on down to make it grab a lower gear. Thanks.

 

Sounds like a misfire. No codes or check engine light(flashing)? What engine and how many miles?

 

No lights or nothing. 5.4 triton with a 158,000 miles.

Sounds similar to what mine was doing. Changed the plugs and fixed it.

 

Absolutely. Change the plugs with Motorcraft plugs and put new boots and springs on your coils. That's where I'd start.

 

Won'ts = Want's. your motor want's new plugs
