Default Strut mounts anyone????

Anyone here have to replace their strut mounts yet. Ive had a clunking noise for 4 months and a buddy of mine is a diesel mech at a ford dealership and we threw it on the lift and everything is tight. Ive replaced all balljoints sway bar bushings and sway bar end links. I did this all on my own trying to trouble shoot the noise and no luck. I hopped up on the front bumper and he lifted and lowered the truck and i watched the strut mounts through the engine compartment. Driverside had the a little amount of play.He he said a little play makes alot of noise in suspension. The strut mount is the part the front shock bolts to with 1 single spacer and nut. Just wondering if anyone had to replace theirs?

Got my new mounts in and no more noise!!!! Glad i replaced them, one of them the strut spring was pushing through the rubber and rubbing on the metal. Also it raised my front of the truck 1/2 inch

What brand and part number did you use. I see Moog listed two different ones. One for Standard Suspension and one for Off Road suspension.
