Well if you're replacing the strut with a leveling strut, or adding a lift 'puck'. You should at least get the alignment checked, as raising the front will change the geometry. Chances are it will still be within 'spec', but it's better to be sure.

Yes you should always have an alignment after replacing suspension parts. An alignment is a lot cheaper than tires.

Plus depending on your truck configuration, you could gain 1/4" to 1/2" with the quickstucks.

Different oem shocks have different spring rates. These are a one size fits all.

I need to research this more. I think my Limited has different struts/springs than the other trucks. Guess I just wasted my money on an alignment last month.

Your Limited will be fine with the Monroe Quickstruts and so will your alignment.

Well then, when changing the ride height by all means have the alignment checked and corrected as needed.

Oh you will need it more than checked. Lifting the front of these trucks with struts or blocks necessitates an amlignment as the move changes a lot of geomatry. Your wheel will be well off center after the instal and have a pull.

Ok, for my clarification, is the quickstrut considered a lift? Does it have a lift spacer/puck? I wasn't planning on adding a leveling kit...unless it's part of the quickstrut kit I guess.

Sorry, my responses were for the OP who started the thread. You shouldn't need an alignment with regular quick struts...

Well depending on your location and if you decide on the Monroe struts, I've got a set for sale. Just saying. Not meant to hijack this thread.
