Default straight pipe

i have a 2007 f150 straight pipe, it sounds awsome to me and all i get from people is how loud its is they can hear it from a good mile away. it comes from the cats into a y pipe then into a 3 inch pipe and then back into a y pipe too two 2.5 inch pipes into side out rear pipes to 3.5 inch tips. in my opinion the bigger the tips the more it drones it out and makes it sound like a stang. all i got is an air filter replacement and im gonna put a real intake setup in at some point so it may change the sound a bit. I agree that u dnt really see any milage loss (unless u romp on it to hear that beautiful sound) but maybe some torque loss. my big question i pose is will it sound any louder if i make it dual straight pipe instaed of keeping it y into a single into a y and how much will a good set of headers change the sound and power
