Building mine also, though nothing compared to his! Lol 75w rms components up front, 60w rms 6x8 in the half door, and a 400w rms cvt12 sub, I never have a system so I'm pretty excited!

 

Both system sound like great setups! This was my 9th system so I have had quite a few years to decide which components to get etc. All I can suggest is spend the most money you can on the amplifier and front speakers. Rear speakers are only for fill. That's where great sound stage comes from.
