Default Steering stabilizers?

Howdy, a newbie here so accept my apologies if I posted in the wrong spot. I have a 2006 XLT ext cab 4x4 with 3in leveling kit and 4in block in the rear. Running 285/70/17 mud tires and am getting some vibrations in steering wheel. It has been there since I leveled and installed the bigger tires, but it is starting to bug me. I know the tires/wheels are balanced OK. I'm thinking a steering stabilizer set up will help with this. Problem is, I can't find any kits that aren't designed to be used with a 6" lift. I have searched this forum for info but can't find what I am looking for. Any suggestions?

I can't see it helping with our independent front. They're design is for solid axle fronts. I've seen them for sale for our trucks. Fabtech, Procomp, Skyjacker all make them. Check all the bolts especially tie rods and maybe the place you got your alignment did a shiiity job

I don't think they make em for just leveling kits. And I didn't think it would help mine much because the ifs. I have a 6 in fabtech with 37s and man does it make a huge difference when I hit bumps! Steering wheel barely moves!

you shouldn't need steering stabilizers unless you are running 35's or bigger with heavy rims!. like i am running 22x11 fuel hostages with 35's and think the steering stabilizers are amazing difference.

It's more likely that you have a problem that you need to correct rather than cover up with a stabilizer.

Ok i have a 2005 Screw and just put a 2.5 inch leveling kit and 2 inch blocks in the back along with 18 inch Ultra rims and 35 inch BFG's and i find the steering a little sloppier than before. Where can i get a Steering Stabilizer to fit my truck, I can't find any online that are actually made for a 2005 F150, are they interchangable?

The fabtech ones should fit. There is a pretty good write up on how to do it floating around

No there are not intended for a leveled truck.I had to take the fabtech kit and make new brackets where the stabilizer bolts to your outer tie rod ends.you will have to use wheels with a min 4.5 inch backspacing the stockers wont work. They do help seem to take out alot of bumpsteer and "shimmy"....Good luck!
