Default Steering Issues

I need some help!!! I recently replaced the rack, both pressure hoses, PS pump, Outer tie rods, and Serpentine belt. I put new fluid in the PS resovoir and jacked up the front of the truck. Cycled the wheel lock to lock for like and hour, but the steering pump is still making noise, and there is a wobble in the steering wheel. Is this air in the lines still? I was getting frustrated and I am about to go and get a hand vacuum pump and hook it up and do the proceedure it says in the manual. Is this air or something else? Thanks.

Did you check the intermediate shaft? U joints could be going out.

Thanks for the reply. Pardon my ignorance, I'm still new at this, what is the intermediate shaft? Also, everything seemed to be fine before I replaced everything. The only reason I replaced the rack was that one of the lines on the rack was leaking due to rust and salt. Once I got into this, I noticed that the tie rods looked bad and the pump was tough to turn after I took the serpentine belt off to replace it. I pretty much have a new steering system on the truck.

the intermediate shaft connects the steering wheel to steering rack. The shafts freezing up are a known problem.

When the shaft freezes up it varies from feeling like you have no power steering to just stiff in spots

I don't understand why you would replace a whole rack? Sounds like it's been your i shaft the whole time. Tie rods can easily be replaced too.
