Squeaky window..
Wow, I cant believe this is such a huge problem. I figured I would come home to see some post of, I'm a tool lol. Yeah I got in-channel rain guards which did NOT help one bit.
The window that does make the noise they put the guard in a lil to far so i need to have them fix it, but i cant prove it with the sound it makes with the plastic because the window itself noise it like 10x's louder than anything else.

it comes in an aerosol can so you just spray it...roll your window down all the way and spray every where glass touches...wd-40 and lithium grease will leave residue on window everytime in goes up and down..if thats something you dont mind..so be it..but you should be able to get dry silicone at any parts house ie autozone oreillys etc
Sweet, I might have to make that a project this weekend. Gives me a headache every time I hear it lol. So you just roll down your window, and spray between the weather stripping where the window comes up through and get it nice and covered? What about up along the sides on the pillars?
I got EGR In-Channel Rain Guards, I love them. I got a got price because they quoted me wrong
. I haven't had any problems with them being in-channel at all, except the noise on my driver or sounds like plastic and glass pressing on each other but I think it has ALOT to do with the window itself and its lovely noise lol. But none of the other make it, and they look very slick and smooth like almost part of the truck, (trucks black too.) Ill try to post a pic, shes a lil dirty right this min.

im sure you could use that i dont see why not..i use a 3m dry silicone spray..i guess dime a dozen they all the same..and yes just spray the weather striping with window all the way down and the channels and you should be good to go!!
I just fixed my squeaky window this weekend. Unlike some it was not the felt strips at the opening that was causing the noise. I had to remove the inner door panel and gain access to the guide rails. At the bottom of each rail is a plastic pulley that the cable goes around. IF this pulley is whats making the noise as it was for me you can verify it by sticking your hand down and holding the pulley in place while you run the window partially up and down.....common sense says watch your hand! if they noise level goes away then its that pulley if only lightens up then its both. I was able to get some slick 50 sprayed on to the face of the pulley which worked its way on to the pulley shaft....problem fixed. My window and me are happy again. I also have tinted windows and do not have any film or anything on my window since the glass does not contact this. You may also want some sort of sealant handy to glue to water guard back to your inner door panel.

Yeah, i tried the dry silicone spray a couple weeks ago. Didn't really do anything for me. I haven't had time to try and take the door panel off yet. I was hoping to this weekend. I've tried looking for pics to see what i was going to be looking at but nothing, so i knew what to grease or what ever i needed to do, or is it pretty obvious once you get there?

Finally got mine fixed also. As above it was the pulley on the rear side of the door at the bottom of the window track. What threw me off was the sound seemed like it was actually coming from the top of the door where the window touches the felt seals. It only takes about 15 minutes to take off the door panel to fix this. 2 bolts at bottom of door. 2 bolts behind door handle trim. pop off window control panel and speaker grill. remove speaker and 2 bottom plastic pieces that speaker screws go into. remove bolt behind window control panel. lift up on door panel and then out. you can access bottom pulley through door near bottom.
Hope this helps.
