Default Squeaking noise

Hey yall! I have an 08 F150 STX and I keep hearing a squeaking noise when I drive. At first I thought it was something to do with the belts and pullys so I checked those out and it's not it. The noise seems to squeak when the truck is completely warmed up and as I drive (below 40mph), I let off the gas so it just rolls and it squeaks. When I step on the breaks then it stops. The other day, I pulled up onto my driveway, put it in park, and closed all the doors and I rocked the truck back and forth and I could hear the squeaking noise. It sounds as if it's coming from the driver side wheel. Does anyone have any ideas?

I also have the same problem on my 04' super crew. After doing a little investigating i have narrowed it down to the brake pad sliding in and out because of a warped rotor. Try putting a little grease in the grooves the rotor pad fit into it helped mine until the grease wore off. Hope this helps!!

I took it to the dealership a while ago since I had it under warranty and they couldn't figure it out. It bugs me because it's kind of embarrasing driving and having a bunch of people look at your vehicle because of the squeaking noise.

So did you replace the rotor?

Could it be the bearings?

Still have not replaced the rotor. I want to upgrade to slotted rotors but money is tight right now. All I did was put grease in the grooves the brake pad slide back and forth in and it worked for about 3 months before it slightly came back. the grease works but as far as a permenant fix im stumped.

I have the same problem. I replaced the rotors and brakes and I still hear the noise.
