Speedometer/Tachometer is off?
Hey folks, I just got a BAFX ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII tool, plugged it into my truck and drove to work today.
Not sure what's going on here, but the VSS and Tach sensor both read different from the dash gauges. For example, I'll have the cruise set to 74mph, which on the tach is, by my guesstimation, about 1990rpm. But in Torque on my phone, it says the RPM is anywhere from 2020-2050 (it fluctuates) and the speed is 69mph. Is it normal for the VSS to read that much different from the in-dash speedometer and tach?
I'm running the stock tire size, per the door sticker, 255/65r17, so it's not a different tire size throwing it off.
Thanks!
BTW, is there no OBDII-readable Oil Pressure Sensor? I don't see it in my list of sensors available to Torque.

Yes, I bought it used last year, it was a one-owner vehicle. I replaced all the tires about a week ago with Falken Rocky Mountain ATS.
The thing is, when I set my cruise to 74 in a 75, I'm keeping up with traffic, and because I doubt everybody around me is doing 5 under, the sensor reading has to be wrong somehow.

I don't think any of them read perfect. plus i remember reading somewhere that ford sets your speedo to run anywhere between 3 to 5 miles faster then you really are. I'd say if your in that range i would think you are ok. like my edge shows 63 mph and my speedo shows 65 but i did go up one size in tires too.
