Don't do the ebay thing.... Just find a place to make your key and they will program it.

To program a new key is easy provided you have two keys already programmed, you take the 1st programmed key and turn the ignition to run (not start) and wait 3 secs (watch gauges sweep and prove out) turn key off and insert 2nd programmed key and do the same, turn off and insert new key in and wait for gauges to sweep and remove, do the same for other un-programmed keys up to 4 IIRC.

Now all keys should start the truck, try them all just to be sure. If a new one fails try the programming again, if it still fails then you have a bad key.

If you do not have 2 keys already programmed to the dealer you shall go, or if you know someone with dealer computer.

The fobs program differently, put a key in and turn it to on then off and back on around 7-8 times ending with the key in the on position, you will know when you enter learning mode as the door locks will cycle, when they cycle press any button on the fob, the locks will cycle to let you know it was accepted, do the same with other fobs, when done just turn the key to the off position, the locks will cycle once more to let you know it has completed the programming cycle.

To most people it don't make any difference but in the event where diagnostics are required when a system failure happens a cloned key is as valuable as a screen door on a submarine.
