Default Spark Plugs issue

So here we go!!!
i understand the use of the lisle tool. But thats all i can find when i look for tips on removing broken spark plugs from the triton 3v engine. My problem is not removing that sleeve, not yet anyway.
so the previous owner replaced one plug and one coil in 60000 miles... he replaced the plug with an autolite and the coil with generic... now idk if thats what caused the issue or what but my issue is that the nut part of the plug broke off and has left the threaded part of the plug still threaded in the head.
At least its in the very front. Not that its gonna make a crap if the whole head has to come off to get that threaded part off. Has anyone else had this issue and/or know how to fix it?

You’ll need the Lisle 65700. It has an additional PORCELAIN PULLER tool that’s needed when the plug threads separate from the rest of the plug.

See my thread from 2022: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/plugs-r...l-tips-532835/

i look d at it but dont see how that helps my situation.
all the porcelain is out, the electrode is out, all that remains is the metal on the bottom of the plug...
everything bottom past the nut. Its still threaded into the head with no nut to turn it out.
ive tried a screw extractor but it dont seem to want to bite the metal in there. I guess the plug metal is just too hard to get a bite. Ive tried tapping with a hammer as i twist the extractor tiny increments at a time and it still eventually loses its grip on the plugs remains.

Did you use the Lisle 65700 tool or just a screw extractor?

There is still definitely porcelain in the hole which is probably what is preventing the extractor from biting in the metal bit. You have to push the last bit of porcelain down to get purchase with the extractor.

That was creative.

You must be very satisfied and relieved. And thanks for posting the solution. It can be helpful to others who encounter this problem.
