Default Spark Plugs/COP

Had my timing chain set done last week, also change to a Ford Racing oil pump. I was hoping that the timing set and oil pump would make the phasers work so I opted not to spend the extra $500 for them thinking I could possibly go back later and do them my self with having to remove the valve covers only. I still have a tick in my motor, but no more rattle. I've read a few people finding that it was a loose plug or COP, so I figured I'd check that too since it's pretty much free, unless I break one obviously, but the PO said he replaced the plugs when he did the coils, he went with Accel. This is #1, does it look ok? Is it original, or is the updated plug?

Ran into an issue...#3 plug won't come out, can't get anything to bite on it, looks like it's rounded...anyone experienced this?

Those plugs have been running loose and blowing by. It looks like a shiit ton of debris/carbon down in that hole. You need to clean and blow all that out, then maybe there will be more hex for the socket to bite onto.

Well I cleaned them all up, pit some dielectric grease on the COP's, however I wasn't able to get the #3 plug out. Truck fired up and ran smooth, no tick! I reset my fault codes, was getting p0010, p0340, and p0344. Hopefully they will stay off. I also took out the cam position sensors and cleaned them up and put a little dielectric grease on the connections there too. The one on the drivers side had some gunk on it...

That is the updated plug. If you didn't on the reinstall, you also need to torque the plugs back down to prevent them from backing out. 28 ft lbs is the norm, but some go anywhere from 25-30ish.

I torqued to 28 ft lbs...why would I need to change the springs and boots, they were fine, just dirty, so I cleaned them, put some dielectric grease on and they seem fine, am I missing something?

Cleaning them is the way to go. Replacing them is a waste of money unless they are actually broken. You done good

The boots and Springs were all in good shape, no cracks, so I figured cleaning them would be fine...

Number 3 is still loose though. That amount of carbon in the hole shows that. You should have a game plan to get that plug out.
