I was interested in how they looked after a while, so a week after I did mine, I pulled the front plug on both sides and to be honest, I could not tell that there was any anti seize put on the barrel of the plug other than when I put them down in the plug hole they I scraped against the threads a little in the head so there was a little bit of it on the threads.

I learned to put anti seize on the barrels after breaking plugs the first time around. Never had an issue since, have changed them 3 times now.

I had a buddy who tossed his Lisle tool after he removed them the first time and replaced with plugs that had anti seize on them. He still had one break off, and was without his tool, so he ended up having to make an emergency run to Napa and buying the tool again.

I kept mine for the next time just in case.

X3, and where was the anti-seize applied and which type was used? If it wasn't nickel anti-seize and it wasn't applied to the plug barrel, my ears are closed.
