Default Sound System

Hey,

I'm thinking of getting a sound system for my 2008 Super Crew and was wondering if anyone had some pics of there system. I'm not looking to get anything bigger then 8's but was curious what it might look like as well as any mods they might have to do to the interior.

I have folding seats in the rear and was thinking it might be hard to do.

I wouldn't mess with eights, I would do one or two tens. The cost will be nearly identical for better performance.

My Peerless XXLS 10 is in a Qlogic Qcustom box:

Everything else isn't visible, I retained the stock audiophile head unit, put Components in the front doors, and the amp is on the back wall of the truck behind the rear seat back.

i'm looking into hooking up some subs in my 07 screw i got a link from one of the guys on here for a box for mine that holds two 10's. i'm really thinking about buying it,if i do i'll let you know how it fits and what not only problem i have is finding the right subs for it ( only place thats close to me with a good selection of subs is in philly) i've been looking online and some subs are hard to get all the dimension's of the sub's. this is the site for the box.www.foxacoustics.com and these are the subs i'm looking at good luck with what ever you decide to go with but i would deff go bigger then 8's but thats just me

Go for the under the seat downfire box with 10s or even 2 12s! kicker makes the coolest shallow mounts around and are built to take any abuse we can give them!
I changed all my speakers and head unit myself it is a snap if you know what to do.some sound shops are spendy but will give you a great look and sound!
If you are going to spend the money go big because you will not be sorry in the long run!

Thanks for the info. I was actually thinking how hard it would be to maybe install a 10 in the rear of the center console facing the rear seat.

Has anyone seen anything like that?

I've seen it, I love throwing all my **** in that endless pit so much, I don't think I personally could sacrifice it. Here is my set up, 2 Kicker CVR 10'"s and a 700 watt kenwood amp, Clarion H/U, and 4 kicker 5x9's. Yes, I like kicker.
