Default Solid to slider window swap

Is it just as simple as paying someone to swap out the solid to the slider?

I've got a perfectly good solid that if someone was willing to swap me for a manual slider I would.

It should be direct fit. When dads solid broke a few years ago, he had a slider put in

Does anyone know if the wiring is already there to add a power slider?

no, wiring will need to be added from the switch to the power sliding regulator, but the metal should be stamped for everything to mount on

Ok cool. What would you recommend doing for the switch? A plain black temp on-off-temp on switch? Cause if the wiring isn't there then I would need to run it up into the dash as well.
