Default smoked lights

I don't want to do it all black i want it that greyish smoke color. I was wondering where i could get some where I don't have to pay an arm and leg for them or a way i could do them myself?

I did my tail lights with VHT Niteshade. 11.99 at O'Reilly's. I laid one light coat on the lights as I too didn't want the blackout look, but rather the Harley Davidson tail look.

I did mine with nightshades. I ended up trading the truck in before I cleared them though. Here are the pics that I do have.

I wetsanded them and then sprayed 2 light coats of Nightshades.

I also had fun with the 3rd brakelight. The first time I did it I went way to dark. I ended up resanding it back to the start and the second time turned out much better.

First try final result

Second try much better
