i was actually gonna smoke my headlights tomorow. if you wait a couple of days, i'll have pictures up so you can see how it looks. and i wouldnt use the clear coat. if you get pulled over or anything, you'll have to buy new headlights. if you just use the nightshades, it comes right off with laquer thinner. just a suggestions. i figured id throw that out there

Just buy a set of covers. On those crappy days or nights you can just pop the hood and pop them off. $60 canadian, not sure what that is US.

pop the hood and pop them off. Im trying to find covers for the fogs but cant find much. They give off a ton of light and the headlights go through the covers alright still so i dont usually take them off because its light ou before i leave for work and sun is still up when i get home. If i drive in the dark it takes me 30 secs to pop hem off.

How is the visibility with the headlights. I wanted to do the same thing but I heard that it cuts down a lot on how much light comes out.

just get HID's and you wont have to worry about popping them off.
