Default Smallest Suspension Lift

I am currently running 33s with a 2 inch level. My truck is a 07 2 door 4x4. Im looking for a small suspension lift so I can run 35s. Or just a small lift in general for 35s. add a leaf? or body lift? Any suggestions?

I am aware that I will be able to clear 35s with any sort of lift. I litteraly need like 1-2 inches of lift and ill be able to clear them. I have a 4x4 2 door so it comes higher from the factory. My friends ask me if my truck if lifted all the time when it is only leveled. i am looking for more of a suggestion on lift type or brand to get. I am really lost when looking at possible lifts to buy. Some dont say if they are for 2wd or 4wd and some dont list the parts included or describe the kit at all.

If you are leveled already then you dont' need anymore to clear 35's with stock wheels

Yeah if you are leveled (2" of lift) then you are tall enough for 35"s. If you are trying to go taller then the next step would be a 4" suspension lift.


If you dont want anything cut then you can do adjustable coilovers set to 3" but most would suggest new UCA if you set your coilovers to 3".


Those are your options.

I still wouldn't say 3" due to him having 4wd. CV angles would be crap.

I'd just go with a 4" suspension lift and be done with it.

If you want to run 35's, get a 4" lift. Yes you can physically stuff them under the truck with a 2-2.5" level but they will rub badly. Also a quality lift kit keeps your steering and suspension angles where they belong and the ride quality is noticibly better.

if your going to lift it, go 6 inches , if you don't you will want it later !!!

eh, I don't suggest it but I see people do it without issue.

35"s can fit a level without any rub, a lot of people here can attest to that. also a lift kit doesn't make the truck ride any better, it will make the truck ride exactly the same actually. A leveling kit with a quality coilover will make the truck ride better than a lift kit with stock struts and springs.

I know a lot of people with a 4" kit that will disagree. Definitely feel like the OP with a thread title of "smallest suspension lift" would disagree as well lol

I appreciate all of the responses. I am running after market wheels with some width to them so i definitely dont want to stuff 35s under there without some sort of lift. I was hoping there would be some sort of way to get the lift without committing to a 4 or 6 inch sus lift but it looks like thats gonna be the best way. Does anyone have any personal experience with a good 4-6 inch lift kit. Also how do you guys feel about buying a used lift? ive seen some fabtech lifts on craigs that fit our generation.
