Default Sliding Rear Window

My sliding rear window recently stopped working for an unknown reason. I think it might be the fuse. However, I lost my owner's manual somehow so I have no way of finding out which fuse number it is. I have a 2004 5.4 Lariat.

Pull the switch out and clean the connection points, then try it.

Am I going to have to pull that whole overhead unit out with the dome lights and sunglasses holders and all that stuff?

The whole thing pops off. Once it is off unplug the wires and you should be able to remove it.

I can't hear anything when I push it. When it did work, I would have to push it a couple times for it to finally open.

My window stopped working this summer, I cleaned and lubed the track/ cable but that didn't work. I have a feeling my switch needs to be replaced, my old truck did this and I got a new switch then it was all good. I just haven't got around to buying a switch.

Try cleaning it 1st , you can removed and clean that switch / with a spray contact aerosol cleaner from . radio shack. I bought one to replaced it . then I decided to clean it , so far 3 years still works . hope that is also your case/ good luck.

Thanks! I'd rather do that than buy a new switch or have a window that doesn't work.
