Default Size tires

Hey everyone,

My F150 has 18" factory wheels, but I need new tires. A buddy of mine has a set of brand new tires, but they are set up for 17". Can I switch tire sizes, or can that not happen? Would it be dangerous to drive with smaller tires that may or may not be suitable to my truck. I have a 2008 F-150 XLT 5.4V8. The tires are coming off a Ford Expedition 2002.

Thanks,

Bob

You can't put tires designed for a 17" wheel on an 18" wheel. 17's will fit on the truck though. They are the smallest size wheel you can run.
